Wearing a bra to bed?

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008
emma.england asked:

I normally wear a bra and panties underneath satin pjs or a chemise when going to bed.

I like the support a bra offers, but quite often find that there are red marks under my ***** in the morning (this is where the underwire is digging in to my body).

I have had a bra fitting done a few months ago, so know I am wearing the right size. I am age 33 with a bra size of 34C.

Is there a way to be comfortable without any pain or soreness?

I am worried about my *****. They are a feminine part of my body, and would like to look after them.

Nightwear: Amazing Choice, Style And Comfort

Monday, December 29th, 2008
Amanda Cotterill asked:

For every woman with a drawer full of silk lingerie and sheer nightwear, there is another woman who wishes she could wear **** lingerie but doesn’t. Too many women, the thought of wearing ladies nightwear is uncomfortable.

We’re not talking about the mental aspect of feeling uncomfortable. Oh no, these women do have a desire to wear something **** from time to time. The kind of discomfort we’re talking about is physical.

The thought of stiff corsets, underwire push-up bras, scratchy lace, and tiny panties that ride up in places decent folks won’t mention in mixed company is more than most women can bear. Sleep time is supposed to be for soft flannel or cotton or a favourite T-shirt and sweatpants, right? True, those last items are less than flattering for a little fun in the bedroom, but they are comfy.

Girls, listen up. Ladies nightwear can be comfortable if you know what to look for. With so many of today’s materials, you can be **** and comfortable at the same time - and every night. The days of ladies nightwear used exclusively for an hour of playtime with your partner are over. Women have demanded practical, **** lingerie - and designers have listened.

One of the most popular styles of ladies nightwear is the negligee. This type of lingerie is traditionally a long nightgown. Many styles are loose enough to be comfortable for wear the whole night long. Most styles are regular dress length, falling a few inches below the knee.

Nightgowns are the next step for something with a little more sophistication. Whether you buy one knee-length nightgown or one that sweeps over the floor, this style of ladies nightwear is very ****.

For those who want to feel fresh and young again, try a babydoll. Babydolls are relatively new to the scene, having been around only since the mid 1950s. The top blouse covers the torso and hips, and the cute, **** outfit comes with matching panties.

The type of fabric you choose also contributes to the comfort factor. Nothing is more luxurious than satin or silk lingerie, but many women avoid these materials because they believe silk and satin required special care. Here are a few other types of materials to look for in comfortable lingerie:

- Chiffon: Chiffon is sheer and very soft, especially if it’s made from silk.

- Lycra: “Lycra” is actually a brand name for a stretchy, body hugging material. Many nightgowns have Lycra on the top half and a loose, flowing skirt on the bottom.

- Cotton: An old standby, cotton is perfect for any climate. At one time, cotton lingerie was less than attractive. Views have changed and more designers are using this material.

- Silk: Silk is an amazing material. Cool to the touch when you first put it on, silk gradually warms to your skin. While silk is much more expensive than other materials, it is long lasting and won’t irritate your skin.

- Satin: Heavier and shinier than silk, satin has many of the same qualities as silk, but doesn’t retain moisture and is less expensive.

With so many choices available, there is no reason to think ladies nightwear needs to be uncomfortable to look good. Both comfort and style are easily attainable. Go ahead and shop around; you’re sure to find something you like.

Lingerie Buying Guide

Saturday, December 27th, 2008
Subhash asked:

When it comes to buying lingerie, you want to eliminate anything that binds or cuts into the skin. Most of us want lingerie to make us look as smooth as possible. You’re not going to do that with things that are in any way too small. When it comes to lingerie, buying too small can actually make you look bigger.

* The most important thing to consider when buying lingerie is size, especially accurate bra size. You want each item to fit properly and to be comfortable. Speaking of comfort, many women avoid lingerie because they fear it won’t be comfortable, but there are many options to choose from which provide not only beauty and style, but also plenty of comfort.

*Before buying, make sure you know your correct bra size. Chances are, unless you’ve been professionally measured, you’re not wearing the right size. If your ******* spill out of the cups into your armpits, your cup size is too small.

*If the strap in the back rides up, your bra’s band strap is too big. If your ******* appear to sag in your brassiere, then you may need criss-cross support, stronger straps, and/or an underwire. If the straps dig into your shoulders, look for wider straps.

*You don’t have to start out choosing the most daring item of lingerie. You can select from gorgeous nightgowns, silky robes, and satin lounging pajamas. There are many different styles available for every preference and mood. From long and elegant to short and sexy, you can choose something that you and your partner will both find attractive. It really depends on taste.

*If you’re looking for bedroom wear, what matters most is how glamorous and beautiful they make you feel. However, if you’re looking for plus size panties as foundation garments, remember that bikinis are not usually as attractive under clothes as panties that rise all the way to the waistline of whatever you’re wearing.

*If you are shopping in a store, make sure you can try on lingerie, even if it is over your clothing or undergarments. Getting the right fit can be a bit tricky, because lingerie tends to run a little on the small side. Like it or not, you may need to select a larger size. Don’t feel bad; many women do. If you’re shopping online, measure yourself in all the key areas and contact an online retailer for additional sizing information.

*Price is always an issue, so shop and compare. Competition in the lingerie industry is high, so you should be able to find great prices if you shop around for the best deal. Why pay more for lingerie if you don’t have to, especially when online shopping is so convenient? Most online lingerie retailers also ship your purchases in discreet packaging, so you won’t have to worry about privacy.

Popular Styles and Types of Lingerie

Monday, December 15th, 2008
Priyanka Arora asked:

Lingerie have become essential pieces in a woman’s wardrobe. They do not only provide adequate and necessary support to outfits but they also offer a way for women to express their sexuality, personality and individuality. Here are some of the more common types and styles.

Baby doll lingerie are very popular nowadays. These pieces have a classic trait that would be perfect for those women who want to wear something **** but not too vulgar. These pieces usually come along with g-string panties or thongs.

Garter skirts and garter belts also make good choices to achieve a very **** look. Though garter belts and skirts could be separately bought, many bustiers and corsets come with detachable or attachable garters. These pieces usually have a pair of stockings that are attached, making an unmistakable **** yet still elegant look.

Corsets are also widely popular. A lot of the modern corsets today have significantly changed over the years. These pieces are no longer like the ones that were worn in the Victorian era. Materials have become a lot softer and a lot more comfortable. These lingerie can be bought in lace, silk, satin along with many various materials and fabrics that are able to provide both style and comfort. Corsets can easily show the natural curves of a woman, enhancing her overall look.

Panties are also essential types of lingerie. There are a lot of kinds of panties being sold in the market today and these would include g-strings, thongs, booty shorts, briefs, boy-cut panties and a lot more. These pieces are **** and yet are still feminine, fun and playful.
