mike j asked:
I’m a 22 year old guy living alone. until a number of months ago, i used to crossdress occasionally for fun. I stopped doing it, and the clothes have been sitting in the closet since. i’ve been waiting to find a way to dispose of them. it includes stuff like panties (VS), sports bra, light workout jack, tight pink workout pants, black spandex, pink tshirt, velour pants, satin robe etc… just tonight i had the temptation to put them back on again. Should i give into my temptation, or should i resist? help me.
thanks,
mike

I take it that you are afraid of the social stigma and are familiar with the addictive nature of cross dressing. Therefore you are a little afraid of going back there.
Here’s the ****. Approximately 10% of normal healthy heterosexual men say they get pleasure from wearing women’s clothes. For these men, their brains release dopamine, serotonin and other neurotransmitters when they cross dress. This gives them a powerful sensation of gratification, pleasure, well-being and self-identity. It affects the reward centers of the brain so it affects you like an addiction. These men say they feel a NEED to crossdress. They claim it reduces stress and makes them happier.
For the vast majority of these men, they are hetrosexual, they get married, and they keep their cross-dressing private. Many never even tell their wives. When their wives find out they are seriously hurt. When they get over that, then then set a series of rules to liimit their husband’s cross-dressing. The husband then does his best to live up to those rules. They find they both have to make compromises to meet each other’s needs. For the most part they live normal healthy lives.
Problems arise when the crossdresser does not place limits on his crossdressing. He trys hard to create a female alter-ego, and even gives “her” a feminine name. He feels his female alter-ego has needs too. He may even try hormones and surgery to look more feminine. At this point his wife gives up. She willl complain that she was just her husband’s second love, the competition. She needs out.
So, my advice is to go ahead and cross dress. But only until it makes you feel good. Place limits on yourself. You have to control it, or it will control you.
